General Meeting

Join us for our monthly General Meeting. It's a great way to find out what our club is really all about and meet some of our members. Our General Meetings are open to the public (men, women, and non-mobile children are welcome) and are always free!

Monthly General Meetings (GM) are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm (except for December and August when we take a hiatus but may schedule another funmc event in it's place), at the Fremont Senior Center, 40086 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont, but please confirm the meeting time and location by calling our message service at 510-475-6864.

Join us for a fabulous presentation by Suzanne Tateosian founder of Earthshakes.

  • Family, neighborhood and emergency contact plans, reunion plans, safety plans for children, the elderly and disabled
  • Search & Rescue, family home escape plan "under the bed" supplies, storage of rescue supplies
  • When and how to shut off utilities
  • Structural preparation, what can you do to help make your family safe at home
  • Family Survival Supplies, 2-week home supplies, "Take & go" supplies, shelf-life of supplies (canned goods, water, etc), Storage of supplies, sanitation/human waste, alternative water supplies

Earthquake survival kits will be available for purchase after the presentation.
